Week 1 Reflection

After this first week of training, I’ll admit I feel a little nervous about having to learn as I go along. However, I have to remember that, in a way, all jobs are structured like this. Even though now it’s more extreme with how much I would need to learn, the learning process never stops in any field. There’s always going to be a point where I don’t know exactly what to do or how to solve an issue, and that’s fine. I know there is a support system here that can help me if I get lost. I just have to hope I remember that and know that I can rely on others.

Also, I am still very excited about the things I’ll be learning on the job, and how I can use it for project work when I am assigned one. Not only do I get the technical skills from training, but also the interpersonal skills from working with others on a large project. Although I dread the latter aspect sometimes, I know it is crucial to have the ability to work with others on settings like this, so I’m glad to have the opportunity to here.

Overall, despite my nerves, I am looking forward to great things for me and everyone in Vivero!

Retreat Portfolio Reflection

Using cPanel has been a little challenging so far as I’ve never had experience with back-end web development, but I am enjoying the customization of my website so far. I am excited for uses these tools in practice during the year to create and document project materials.
